  4. Within this directory is a gold mine of application programs. They are
  5. of course shareware and demos, but you can at least try them out. I have
  6. included the following applications:

  8. TRUESPACE      <DIR> - TrueSpace:  A 3D modeler.
  9.  
  10. COOLEDIT       <DIR> - Cool Edit 96 and PRO: Sound processing programs.
  11.  
  12. MSWORDVIEW     <DIR> - Microsoft WORD viewer.
  13.  
  14. PAINTSHOPPRO   <DIR> - Paint Shop Pro: A paint program.
  15.  
  16. WINZIP         <DIR> - WinZip: A compression/decompression program.
  17.  
  18. ACROBAT        <DIR> - Acrobat Reader: Adobe Acrobat reader to read
  19.                        .PDF files. You'll need this to read the bonus articles
  20.                        and chapters that are in .PDF format.

  23. To load and install any of the programs simply change directories and
  24. read the README files for specific information. In most cases, you just
  25. need to launch a self extracting .EXE file and that will load each application
  26. respectively.

  28. Note: Sound Forge didn't make it on the CD due to technical difficulties. Basically,
  29. I was trying to save you 20-30 mins of downloading the demo version. However, you
  30. can always go to the Sonic Foundry website and download Sound Forge at:
